John Davison - Blunt 74

My name is John and I am a Brighton based Freelance Interactive Designer / Illustrator / Animator. I graduated in 1997 from the U.W.E. in Bristol with a First Class Illustration degree. After a year of unemployment and extreme Cider drinking I decided to go back to my ivory tower and do an M.A. in Sequential Design during which I produced 2 digital animations, both with political themes. Proceeding another short period of unemployment and Cider drinking my career was finally launched thanks to Babel Media where I was finally able to buy my first barrel of Cider. A couple of years later and a couple of stone heavier I decided to go self employed. I now specialise in producing high-end screen-based work for the youth and digital entertainment markets. I have produced work for clients such as: Sony, Universal Pictures, BSkyB, E4, Virgin Megastore, Nintendo and Rephlex Records. I'm currently working on www.alterego.tv and a Blunt74 online shop. But when I've finished I shall return to my huge vat of ice cold...CIDER!
