Chloe Hanks - Node Design

I am a freelance designer, trading as NODE DESIGN, with over seven years of experience within graphic information design, largely for print as well as for screen. I also teach design theory, Quark and Photoshop.

Clear design and effective communication come first, pretty pictures are great but I'm not simply a pretty picture merchant. I am a skilled visual communicator, fully aware of the social context in which my work operates. I'm a creative problem solver, able to employ a wide range of research, media, representational and interpersonal skills in order to communicate in a vivid and effective manner with a given audience.

I am very used to taking projects from concept right through to production, whether from my home office in Brighton or within an employers environment. I'm happy working independently or as part of a team.

Essentially, I am a strong communicator, with a passion for design and informing through effective user centered graphic design, have a 'can do – will do' attitude, am hard working, with a sense of humour and these qualities are always employed rather than blind panic in a nose to the deadline-grindstone situation.
