Carl Sullivan

Carl Sullivan - Animation and Character design

After leaving Brighton University with my Graphic Design/Illustration Degree, I worked as a freelance Illustrator for many Clients including The FACE, Time Out, Sony Japan. In this time i also created a full colour childrens book, 'Planet of the bugz' and studied animation at City College.

I then went on to study Web Design at Lighthouse and was selected afterwards to be part of the incubator scheme inwhich i helped produce an animated interactive CD-Rom for Children studying Art.

I have since created stings for Carlton TV and made visuals for the infamous 2002 Fatboy Slim Brighton Beach Party. My Characters have appeared in Japanese publications. (100 Pet Characters, World Publications)

More recently i have been working at Epic producing e-learning content graphics and animation; creating branding, packaging and a website for www.somaorganic.co.uk and making an animated 4 minute music video (see www.carlsullivan.com)

My latest project is a fully animated cartoon world called 'The Pleebles' which will be launched in the Spring.

I love to use Flash both for drawing and animating... and am happiest making up new characters to populate Pleeble Island.
