Same old story....
On the creative genius front, you’ve got it covered. You’re a young illustrator or animator coasting through life with nothing to declare but your talent. Maybe you’ve recently left college or you’re just about to – either way you’ve got the praise of your tutors still ringing in your ears.
But what the hell are you going to do next?
It’s a tough old world out there, and even the most gifted creative’s struggle to translate their abilities in the business world. Whether you’re looking to freelance or start-up your own business, you’ll need to develop skills you’ve not even thought of.
Creative Catapult – the series of workshops and seminars will bring together talented young illustrators and animators with established industry experts. You’ll work on a real-life brief from the likes of the BBC with guidance and mentoring from industry heads who really know their onions.
Creative Catapult is organised by Wired Sussex with industry partner Kanoti, and funded by the Area Investment Framework. The workshop brief is provided by BBC Learning
