Jo Chipchase
After completing a public relations honours degree at Leeds and working in a London-based technical PR agency in the mid-90s, Jo set up her own company, Can-U-Hack-It Ltd, to provide editorial and new media services to clients ranging from corporates to small businesses. She worked widely as a freelance journalist, contributing to publications such as: Daily Telegraph, Create Online, Surrey Mirror, Real magazine, .net, Internet Works, Practical Photography, The Insight, The Argus and other Newsquest publications, to name a few. Jo also contributed a guest chapter to the first edition of the 'Public Relations Handbook', published by Routledge. She co-runs UKPress, an online networking forum for journalists and PRs, and has a strong network of media contacts. She is editorial director of Press Dispensary, a Lewes based company that provides affordable press release writing and distribution services. Jo also edits content for websites (from business-oriented to lifestyle) and runs events.
