Lisa Holloway
Lisa Holloway became Brighton Music Network’s Chief Executive after years working in the Internet and Telecoms industry where she had built a successful career running Sales, Operations and Customer Services departments. As Head of Learning & Development for Thus Plc, Lisa managed a company-wide education programme for 1000+ staff.
Lisa studied Theatre at Dartington, followed by an MA in Performance Theory at Central School of Speech and Drama. She taught Theatre freelance at various colleges, in adult education and in children’s theatre, and acting and directing in the UK, Scandinavia, Europe and Russia.
In 2003 Lisa applied experience gained in the corporate world to where her passion lies, and grew the Brighton Music Network (BMN). She is a Fundraising Consultant to music festivals Brighton Live, The Great Escape and Lewes Guitar Festival and a Music Education Consultant for Sussex Learning Network. She writes a weekly music column for Sussex’s Latest 7 and sits on Brighton and Hove City Council’s Licensing Strategy Group, the creative industries leadership group Creative Brighton and the South East Media Network council.
