Patrick Morrison – PJM Design

Hi, to introduce myself, I am a creative all-rounder with over 4 years experience in print & web design. My background is in Fine Art and printmaking, specialising in digital etching onto steel. The making of images has been a part of my life from a very early age. I am fascinated by the different technologies that can be used to create a visual image today, ranging from millennium old mark-making techniques to contemporary Flash ActionScript. I bring my enthusiasm and passion to every job I work on and am constantly soaking up and seeking out new info & skills.

I work mainly with small to medium enterprises as a brand consultant, designer or illustrator. In the past I have also worked closely with larger studios such as Conran Design Group, First Choice Holidays and Warner Bros. I re-branded the Graham Keen Partnership from the ground up which was a wonderful, if mammoth task as sole-trader. Right now, PJM Design & I are enjoying exploring the mysterious world of how to build a client base from scratch! What fun…

Patrick Morrison is a consistently exceptional designer. We chose him because his background in Fine Art gives his work an edge to it, and him a creative flair and appreciation of great design that we really value. As a colleague he is great fun to work with, always willing to discuss his work openly and bring new ideas to the table. He will happily work through the night to get things in on time and always delivers on time and in budget. He's a mean bargain hunter and will search the UK to find us the best suppliers. I'm sure he under-charges us for his time (but don't tell him that!) He understands quality and has an instinctive eye for what a project requires. We feel very fortunate to have found someone as talented, intelligent, open minded, professional and just pure dead brilliant as Patrick Morrison!
