The work of Jeremy Keith

Jeremy Keith - adactio

My name is Jeremy Keith. I'm a freelance Web Developer living in Brighton & Hove.

I am a designer and I am a programmer. I can appreciate the beauty of good visual design as well as the beauty of good code.

I am committed to building elegant, accessible websites using web standards: valid XHTML, CSS for layout, JavaScript for added functionality. My server-side programming skills are strongest in the LAMP environment: Linux Apache MySQL PHP.

I have worked as a freelancer since 1998, sometimes working from home, sometimes working on-site. My wide range of skills enables me to quickly integrate with existing teams and take on a role that could range from writing XHTML/CSS templates to building PHP/MySQL applications.

Brighton-based companies with which I've worked include Message, Semantico, Angryfish and Motionpath. My direct-client work includes The Session (an Irish music community website), Salter Cane (a Brighton-based alt.country band), Lost in Translation (a freelance translator) and In-Partnership (a financial advisors network).

Nominator's Name: Jamie Freeman
Company Name: Message
Company Website: www.message.uk.com

Nominator's Comments

Jeremy has worked on a number of projects for Message, small and (very) large, over the last couple of years. The quality of his work started out great and has continued to improve ever since! His commitment to best practice chimes perfectly with our own methods and he's become a real part of the Message team. He's continually pushing back the boundaries of his knowledge, which means we're always confident he can deliver what we need. He also plays a mean bouzouki, and you can't say that about just anyone.
