Rebecca Green – Starrydog

As a freelancer I have a broad range of skills to offer. My abilities span the creative spectrum from interactive web design to cutting edge 3D techniques. I’m also experienced and trained in traditional illustration, graphic design, bookbinding and artist’s multiples.

I have been freelancing in Brighton since 1998 when I moved here to do an MA in Sequential Illustration and Design. My work for the MA involved the conception and production of tactile narratives where I was able to utilise my design, copy and packaging skills. Some of my final work was exhibited and sold at the London Artist’s Bookfair.

Soon after finishing the MA I was employed by a local company to produce 3D artwork for the BBC and Dorling Kindersley. This involved 3D design and animation techniques. Following this I have been involved in 3D character creation, imaging and various illustration and design commissions.

Recent jobs include both a flash and html website for a children’s author, promotional artwork for Brighton’s New Venture Theatre, and the design and producction of new multiples for the forthcoming London Artist’s Bookfair.

I am available for work on or off site for long or short term projects. I am highly motivated to produce my own work if I am between commissions. Current projects include artwork and text for a children’s book. I also teach bookbinding at Northbrook College on a part time basis
