Telemarketing Training Workshops

Telemarketing is tough!

When done properly, telemarketing can increase new business, repeat sales and market knowledge considerably. However, even for the many business owners who realise the power of telemarketing, actually making the calls themselves can be an unattractive prospect.

Course Content

Our workshops are broken down into two key modules – Building Positive Rapport and Telemarketing Tips – with the option of a third module tailored to your particular company. Topics covered include:

  • How to prepare for success before picking up the phone

  • Objection handling
  • Building confidence and staying motivated
  • The importance of a good close to your call

Tailor telemarketing to your company

  • What are you looking to achieve?
  • Defining your objectives
  • Preparing for your incoming and outgoing calls
  • How to use experience and industry knowledge to your advantage
  • Incorporating telemarketing into your wider marketing strategy

The emphasis will be very much on team participation, with flipcharts, interactive work booklets, games and role plays used throughout the workshop.

Costs

  • As a member of Wired Sussex you are eligible for the discounted rate of £175 per person + VAT for a minimum of 4 delegates (usual cost is £200 per person). We recommend between 4 and 6 delegates per workshop. Workshops can be run per company or there is the option of an open course which works very well with delegates representing different companies.
  • If the optional third module, Tailor Telemarketing To Your Company, is required we suggest another half day workshop be allowed. The cost will be £350 + VAT for up to the original six attendees.
  • We can offer follow-up sessions of 1.5 hours to recap on the workshop and discuss how it has helped you in “real world” situations – the cost of this will be £100 + VAT.
