Marketing Executive

If yes, we have a fantastic opportunity for a marketing professional to join our friendly marketing team at our office located in the heart of Brighton. Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, as part of the Inspiring Learning marketing team, you will promote a range of adventure experiences from residential activity weeks to day camps in China.

Each year over 175,000 young people visit our ten Kingswood activity centres nationwide and in France, and we’ve recently added Skern Lodge activity centre in Devon to our portfolio. Our Camp Beaumont brand is the most established day camps provider in the UK with 16 locations across London, and we have ambitious plans to grow these sites. If you have an interest in outdoor adventure and inspiring young people, that would be a very big bonus.

We are searching for an organised, driven and outgoing candidate who will support the marketing team in delivering lead generating campaigns, creating content for social media channels, and supporting on projects such as video and photo shoots.

The main duties of this role will include:

  • Independently manage online and offline lead generation campaigns; running campaign activity, reporting, monitoring and constantly optimising
  • Create content for high converting SEO-led landing pages working closely with the in-house Graphic Design team
  • Use data to create audience insight that improves campaign effectiveness through well thought-out segmentation
  • Work with our PPC agency on campaign-focused activity
  • Assist the Senior Brand Manager with social media and blog management; content creation, audits and advertising across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other channels
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to achieve campaign objectives
  • Participation in ideation sessions; capturing unique content at our locations, with a focus on creating and curating content. Visiting our day camp locations when required
  • Assist and support the marketing team with additional tasks (such as events and photo shoots etc.) as required to aid with the smooth running of the department
  • Keep updated on competitor activity and make sure opportunities to improve campaign performance are maximised 

Required skills:

  • Preferably two years’ experience in a digital marketing role
  • Proficiency in social media essential 
  • Broad marketing experience which includes producing print work
  • Demonstrate experience in delivering successful campaigns to deadlines with clear examples
  • Strong copywriting skills with good attention to detail
  • Experience with data segmentation and personalisation
  • Ability to work productively in a small team, and communicate effectively with department colleagues and key business representatives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with ease
  • Customer orientated with an understanding of advertising and marketing principles
  • MS Office skills
