An exciting opportunity to be on the marketing team for what will be 2020’s most groundbreaking environmentalist documentary. This documentary has already been described by Leonardo DiCaprio as “the film future generations will be wishing everyone watched today” and will be getting a cinema release and Netflix or major studio distribution early next year.

We are looking for a proactive, multi-talented marketing professional with experience in both digital and events marketing to undertake some of the following tasks. Experience in the film and documentary industry is a plus.

Functions of the role:

  • Management of social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

  • Website updates with a view to better customer engagement and SEO activity.

  • Liaison with key partners including businesses we’re working with through a CRM system.

  • Proactive idea generation for new plans to add to our marketing strategy.

  • Constant learning about the ever-evolving field of marketing.

  • Using various digital tools to further our marketing efforts.

  • Liaison with our influencer database of over 2000 key influencers.

  • Aiding in events management and marketing.

  • Attending meetings with our agencies including our web development team and PR agency.

  • Regular reporting on KPIs.

  • Attending to day-to-day communications with stakeholders via email and social media messengers.

  • Building and engaging with an email marketing list.

  • Meeting deadlines and keeping to budgets.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years minimum in a marketing role (agency or inhouse)

  • A good understanding of SEO

  • Understanding of various social media platforms

  • Good understanding of utilising analytics platforms and providing reports on marketing goals

  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms.

  • A track record of growing brands and audiences.

Ideal:

  • Basic graphic design skills

  • Use of marketing management platforms such as Upfluence and Screaming Frog

  • Experience of working in the film and documentary industries.

  • Vegan and environmentally focused

  • Qualification in a marketing related discipline

  • Good understanding of IT and Office suites (Microsoft Office or G-Suite)

This role is initially for 9 months, but with a high chance of being extended.
