Technical Services Manager (Information Services)

IT Services makes a valuable contribution to the University of Brighton, supporting innovation and efficiency in learning, teaching, research and administration through the delivery of sustainable IT services that enable us to put students at the heart of everything we do.

As the IS Technical Services Manager you will be responsible for the management of site-based Technical Services Delivery teams, ensuring a consistent IT and AV support service across all university sites. You will also be responsible for the operation of the IT Service Desk, ensuring that effective processes are in place for incident management, access management and request fulfilment and making sure that operational reporting is in place to meet the needs of IT Services and our customers. You will lead on the planning, development and management of major IT Services operations; specifically the provision of IT, Media and Audio Visual support services, on all University campuses.

You will have substantial experience of leading an IT delivery function in a complex, multi-sited organisation. You should have experience of driving forward change to deliver a consistent and high quality IT support service.
