Senior Learning Designer

Senior Learning Designers define effective solutions that deliver measurable behaviour change. This is a client-facing role that involves running engaging face-to-face and remote workshops to understand client challenges, empathising with end-users, and defining solutions. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for key design decisions throughout the project lifecycle and be accountable for the overall quality of the end-products. You may also take on managerial responsibilities such as mentoring or coaching Learning Designers.

  • Design meaningful learning games and augmented reality experiences
  • Offer credible, evidence-based recommendations to clients
  • Interpret raw and sometimes disjointed source content
  • Provide clear and timely briefs to other members of the team to set them up for success
  • Give constructive feedback on others’ work
  • Take ownership for the quality of your own work and that of your team
  • Stay ahead of the curve with the latest research and design trends in our industry and beyond


  • A passion for good design
  • Extensive experience designing a wide range of learning solutions including video, animations, audio, infographics, games, corporate communications, information portals and performance support resources
  • A willingness to learn and challenge old ways of doing things
  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • A high level of confidence using MS office-based tools, particularly PowerPoint
  • A willingness to embrace and quickly learn new tools
  • A genuine interest in the latest digital trends and technologies
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage time well
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others
  • Experience planning and running successful client workshops
  • The confidence and conviction to challenge assumptions
  • An ability to improvise when faced with unexpected challenges
  • Resilience to thrive within an agile and fast-paced agency environment
  • Courage to give honest feedback that helps others improve
  • A genuine interest in Behavioral science
