We’re on our way to becoming the go to tool for creating learning material across multiple devices with our award winning authoring tool, Evolve. Job Description:

As a Junior Full Stack Developer at Appitierre, you’ll become part of a small agile team who pride themselves on building reliable, performant and beautiful apps that bring learning to the masses. You will work directly with the Product Leads, Support and Marketing Team to push the product forward from wireframes to full implementation.

You are super proficient in the following:

  • React and Redux
  • HTML5, LESS (or SASS) and Responsive Design
  • Node JS, MongoDB and creating RESTful APIs

You have an understanding of:

  • Design and User Flows
  • Atomic Design Methodology

You are looking to improve in the following:

  • Understanding of large scale applications

You have already done/know the following:

  • Deployed code to a live environment
  • Examples of code on Github or equivalent (this should be a full project)
  • Common Javascript Pitfalls and Patterns
Person Specification:

You should be self-motivated and want to be part of a company who believe in creating beautiful end-user experiences. Ideally, you are a developer looking to take their career to the next level by working on large scale applications. We value our team's ideas and will expect you to be an active participant in the creative development of Evolve. You understand your code goes beyond your computer and that the product is first and foremost for the users. You should be able to code review, test code locally and across multiple devices. You should understand that our customers are the end user and not developers. You should be able to take direction and own responsibility for implementation. We practice extreme ownership of our work and encourage our employees to do the same.
