Job Description:

Close Brothers Invoice Finance are recruiting for a talented and multi-skilled Marketing and Communications Executive to join their busy team based in Brighton.

This is a particularly varied and exciting role involving content creation and dissemination, PR, social media, new business campaigns and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities

To write all content for the Close Brothers Invoice Finance and Close Brothers Commercial Finance brands including blogs, guides, press releases, white papers, articles, case studies, sales collateral, website copy, email marketing, social media posts and internal communications.

Plan and execute live/online events where necessary for both UK and Ireland

Act as the primary point of contact for the CBIF intranet

Active involvement in staff engagement programme – Vision and Values

Cascade key messages throughout the business using both intranet & email to ensure all staff are aware of relevant marketing activity, business activity and market intelligence

Circulate weekly Deal Board

Produce and manage newsletters where relevant and arrange translation into German where necessary

Help to drive traffic to the CBIF and CBCF websites through the production and dissemination of high value content

Publish content on brand websites and social channels distribute content via online and offline channels, including newswire services

Act as the central point of contact in relation to regional marketing plans for North, South & Ireland Commercial Centers

CRM (Goldmine) champion across the business, providing training to new starts

Produce CRM reports/extracts as required

Maintain team activity calendars/plans

Maintain CRM database, importing data and segmenting key SME and broker audience data for campaigns

 

 
Skills Range:

Experience in a marketing/communications role

Sound knowledge of online PR and social media marketing

Experience of using CRM and CMS platforms

Knowledge of newswire services

Exceptional writing skills

Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, in particular with key stakeholders and suppliers

Strong communication and presentation skills

A creative, yet analytical mind

Excellent organisation and time-management

The ability to efficiently prioritise tasks and work to deadlines

The ability to work within a fast-paced environment whilst providing measurable results

Team player with the ability to work effectively using initiative

Desirable

English or Journalism degree or equivalent

Financial service or B2B background preferable
