Multimedia Software Developer (Permanent, full time)
Salary range: starting at £32,004 and rising to £38,183 per annum

The University is looking for a talented individual to join the Learning Systems and Multimedia Team. This team is responsible for the development of the applications that support students’ learning at university.
Your main role will be to share responsibility for the design, development, maintenance and integration of the University’s lecture capture system.
This is a broad role with a lot of opportunities for learning and gaining new skills and expertise.
You should have previous experience of software development, in projects that have had a broad impact on your organisation. We’d expect you to be an excellent programmer, to have some experience of Linux platforms, and to be interested in hardware as well as software. Most of all, you will be excited by web technologies and have the ability to apply them creatively to building systems to support students' learning.
