Job Description:

We are looking for a ‘quick starter’ to come join our growing ecommerce on an initial 6 month fixed contract. Reporting to Head of Online your role is integral within the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Update and publish content on the websites in line with product launches, campaigns and marketing activity.
• Ensure the timely creation, set-up and listing of new products across websites. Coordinate with cross functional teams to gather all necessary data for product to go live.
• Improve consistency and accuracy of product data and descriptions across Steamer TG websites, adhering to SEO best practice where possible.
• Maintain catalog product hierarchy on websites; ensuring all SKUS are merchandised in the correct categories, shops, etc.
• Partner with teams across the business (marketing, merch, buying) to launch merchandising and promotional campaigns to deliver sales and an excellent ecommerce shopping experience.
• Working with marketing teams to ensure all relevant promotions/campaigns are set-up, tested and communicated clearly on site to customers, including any terms & conditions or restrictions.
• Implement regular program of optimisation at category level and of merchandising features (search, sort orders, upsell/cross-sell, product recs) to improve web KPI performance.
• Conduct competitive and best practise research to suggest merchandising and UX improvements to websites.
• Work with Customer Service to ensure customer queries and web operational issues are addressed and resolved in.

Skills Range:

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience using CMS, preferably Magento
• Confident using excel
• Proficient writing and spelling


Person Specification:

• Able to use initiative to find resolutions and make decisions
• Strong problem solving skills

• Patient, works well under pressure

• Ability to multi-task and be flexible
• Knowledge with the cookware industry is desirable, but not required
