About 15Gifts

Limitless choice isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. After a point, adding more options gets overwhelming. It stops us choosing at all. Or leaves us regretting the choices we make.

Here at 15Gifts, we’re obsessed with the psychology of choice. Studying the key elements that drive people to make confident choices on the high street, and bringing those qualities into the digital world through intelligent decision engine technology.

Today we power thousands of confident consumer choices every day across some of the largest brands in the UK including O2, Virgin Media, EE, Sky, The Times and BT. With every engine interaction, we’re learning more about customers, gathering insights and powering more and more accurate recommendations.

Job Description:

We are now looking for a highly experienced Scrum Master to join the team and help optimise our development cycle - leading both product enhancement and client-facing optimisation projects through Agile processes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with some of the largest brands in the UK and to directly influence the success of a highly exciting company.

The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating the delivery of the stories, tasks and bug fixes accepted into each sprint by the sprint teams.

  • Helping to frame each sprint’s core themes and goals, so the whole team know what success looks like
  • Help the sprint teams to accurately estimate and plan their sprints
  • Administering the company’s scrum and kanban boards, and ensuring physical and JIRA boards remain synchronised
  • Leading the collaborative planning process for each sprint
  • Capturing sprint metrics to report back to the teams and the business as a whole
  • Coaching the sprint teams towards self-organisation
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to resolve and unblock issues
  • Building a trusting environment within the development teams where problems can be raised without fear of blame, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving
Skills Range:
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality digital projects and products
  • Extensive experience using Agile management methodologies to facilitate the running of successful development teams
  • Proven ability to challenge and remove any unnecessary barriers to delivery
  • Highly articulate and credible, able to win buy-in from technical teams, stakeholders and management
