Bare Biology is a luxury Omega 3 health supplement company based in central Brighton, selling both direct to consumer through ecommerce and through retailers. It was founded in August 2013 by mother of 3, Melanie Lawson.
Bare Biology is stocked in Liberty, Space NK, Whole Foods, John Bell & Croyden, Revital, As Nature Intended and more….It's the only Omega 3 stocked in Liberty London and the only one in Space NK.
Bare Biology has been featured extensively in the press, including the Daily Mail, InStyle, Red, Women's Fitness, Woman & Home, Glamour, The Evening Standard and The Daily Telegraph.
Bare Biology was recently invited to join a ‘Club’ of the top 50 fastest growing small businesses in the UK, called SVC2UK.

A great opportunity to join a fast growing scale-up company in the heart of Brighton, managing all our social media channels and website magazine. Reporting directly to a highly experienced Marketing Director and working closely with the CEO, digital and PR agencies, it's a chance to learn loads and be part of a senior team.
The role involves owning and managing all social media channels. Working with the Marketing Director to set the annual strategy, annual marketing plan and detailed quarterly plans. Planning all content for Bare Biology magazine, guest blog posts (inbound and outbound), social media posts and collaborations. Writing and editing all social media posts. Creating and curating all visual and video content. Managing customer, influencer and collaborator engagement and customer service through social media channels. Managing social advertising. Analytics reporting and performance management.
|Skills Range: |
Excellent communications skills. Concise and compelling message creation with perfect written communication. Ability to critique copy, understand what works and doesn't work. Editing skills and blog writing skills. We'll ask to see examples of work you've written in the past.
Extensive and in depth knowledge of social media channels - both how they can be used most effectively, for which audiences and which messages and also how the back end functionality works. Initially you'll look after Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Adding YouTube, Tumblr and Pinterest later in the year.
Creative flair and a good aesthetic. We're a luxury brand and the graphics and imagery we use have to be spot on. You must have a good eye for style, be creative and able to physically create images. So, good photography skills and graphic skills. We'll ask to see examples of work you've done in the past.
Project Management. You'll be juggling a LOT of work and will need to be meticulous in your planning, time management, responding to customer queries and being reactive to relevant news stories.
Social advertising. Experience of setting strategy, planning, creating and managing ads on all channels.
Analytics and reporting. Excellent understanding of how to set KPIs, measure them, produce meaningful and insightful reports. Demonstrate value added to the business to the senior team.
Social and networking skills. You'll be the spokesperson for the brand, both on social media but also with blogger/influencer engagement. We'll expect you to go to networking events and build relationships in the industry.
A passion for great customer service. Consumers expect great customer service via social channels and a rapid, friendly and informative response. You must understand how to talk to customers and know that they always come first.
A fanatical eye for detail. No sloppiness allowed. Every full stop, apostrophe and tiny detail has to be perfect.

You need a bright, positive, sparky, energetic and outgoing personality. You must be a team player as we're small and work closely together. This isn't a place for gossiping, moaning or being negative.
You need to be a fast learner, open to constructive feedback and have a grown up approach to work.
You need to work hard, efficiently and productively. In return, you'll learn a huge amount, be part of an exciting company that is really going places and you will get plenty of time off to have a life. Work hard during the hours you're here and we'll make sure you're appreciated and rewarded.
You need to genuinely love this kind of work and have a real interest in the category.
||£24,000 - £27,000 for an experienced candidate. Salary for a graduate with no experience would be in the region of £18k to £20k.
