Wired Sussex/learndirect partnership

Wired Sussex is proud to announce a partnership with e-learning provider, learndirect - bringing affordable, accessible training to new media firms in Sussex.

The partnership will promote new media business skills and learning across the region, and will complement Wired Sussex's comprehensive 2004 training programme, details of which will be announced in January.

Companies can take advantage of a wide range of courses designed specifically to meet the needs of smaller companies. In fact, there are learndirect courses covering most of the skill needs identified by the new media sector. learndirect has been in place for two years and is one of the most successful e-learning networks in the UK. Courses are very flexible, and can be undertaken at times that suit you and your employees.

People work through the programme at their own pace, either at home, at work or at one of the 39 learndirect centres located throughout Sussex.

Although the courses are designed to be self-learning packages, students also have access to support staff who can be contacted by phone, email, SMS or in person. If desired, people can actually complete all their learning online with learndirect's totally virtual offer.
