Speed dating for Businesses in Finland

Businesses from all over Europe are going to meet in Finland in June during a matchmaking event called PaveTurku (5th-7th June).

What is it?
As one company said 'it is the best cost effective way of trading internationally'. Over 2 days businesses taking part will have a great opportunity to meet, talk business, find partners, sell products, get to learn about other countries' markets and improve their profitability.

Companies provide a profile of themselves which is circulated in participating countries and is available via the website: www.trademeeting.com. Companies then request appointments with each other. Meeting schedules are drawn and take place for 25 minutes during the 2 days under one roof.

And the cost?
Free to register. All a business has to do is cover its travel and accommodation costs (special deals have been negotiated). We also give £100 back to the companies that complete the trip if they are based in Sussex.

PaveTurku will specially be of interest to companies dealing with Industrial software, applications for various industries (machinery, energy, construction, transport, electronics…).

Matchmaking events have been running for over 15 years and hundreds of businesses have benefited from them. The UK organisers are the Southern Area European Info Centre based in Southampton, with the support of UKTI, Business Link Wessex, Chambers of Commerce, and Local Authorities. If you want to grow your business but have a limited budget then this is the perfect way to trade internationally.
