The Digital Roundup
It’s our last newsletter of 2018 and we have lots of great member news to go out on!
Fantastic to see so many learning technology companies storming the award season, including LEO Learning, Lumesse Learning, Brightwave Group and Kineo who were all recognised at the Learning Technologies Awards.
And LEO Learning had multiple reasons to celebrate after winning a DevLearn Award for their learning game, Impact Cx: The Quest. Plus, their parent company Learning Technologies Group acquired learning analytics company Watershed, enabling them to further measure the impact of learning strategies across their portfolio of businesses, and announced the launch of a new sister company VectorCMS, a leading provider of vendor management solutions.
It’s been a busy month for Pragmatic; they built new websites for 12 Yard Productions and The Apprentice star, Jackie Fast.
Congratulations to LearnerLab; their user-generated video platform StoryTagger has been chosen as the video storytelling partner for Learning Technologies, Europe’s leading workplace learning exhibition and conference, to deliver a new experience for conference delegates.
It’s a win for Fugu PR who netted three awards at the CIPR PRide Awards, alongside Midnight Communications who were awarded ‘Best Travel, Leisure and Tourism Campaign’.
We saw some shiny new websites from Plug-in Media who not only revamped their own website, but also developed a website for children’s entertainment initiative, Hope Works.
Good times for LiveTime Learning who have appointed Jake Maxwell as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing years of experience in the L&D industry and a global knowledge of digital learning solutions.
Honouring last month’s Remembrance week, Artillery shared some of the fantastic work they created; turning original WW1 stills into 3D video for a Tony Robinson documentary which looked at 3D stereoscopic imagery.
Congrats to Here’s Zoe Nicholson, Man Bites Dog and Shake It Up Creative who were all recognised for their achievements at the Business Women Excellence Awards.
Happy birthday to Cogapp; they recently celebrated 33 years in business, having worked with clients like Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, London 2012 Olympic Games and MoMA.
In other birthday news, The Skiff celebrated a decade of co-working; bringing together and supporting freelancers across the city.
High-five to Hyve who launched RapidReplacement, a new 20-minute hardware replacement service. They also won ‘Cloud Company of the Year’ at the SVC Awards!
In more award news, Propellernet picked up ‘Best Use of PR in a Search Campaign’ at the UK Search Awards and were honoured for their work at the DMA Awards alongside Anything is Possible, Fresh Egg and RAPP, whilst Brightec won ‘Small UK App Agency of the Year’ at the UK App Awards for the second year in a row, and Futrli were named Xero’s ‘Practice App of the Year’.
