Brighton-based brand development and design studio, Neujuice have recently designed and produced a website showcasing the work of Richard Morrison, one of the world’s leading film title sequence directors. The website features selected titles directed by Richard over the past 30 years and includes Hollywood blockbusters such as Batman, Enemy at the Gates and a Passage to India as well as cult classics like Brazil, Sweeney Todd and Quadrophenia. Nick Davis, Creative Director at Neujuice Design comments: ‘It was a really special experience to work with such a creative force. Richard has worked on over 150 film title sequences including some of the greatest films produced over the last three decades. We wanted to create a really special archive and platform to promote the best of his work. As well as selected titles the website features storyboard sequences which give an indication of how the work would have been constructed. We also resourced Richard’s own archive material and photography which was used to illustrate backgrounds and create the right feel.”
Richard Morrison, Creative Director at Th1ng comments: ”The Neujuice Design team have designed & produced a new website for me, which creatively and visually has transformed my catalogue of Film Title Sequences. The overall navigation system, grid layout and colour scheme, is in my view intelligent design, which delivers all the content clearly and with style. I look forward to coming down to Brighton and working with them again in 2010.”
