Crunch.co.uk partners with MyBuilder.com to target growing audience of 33,000 tradesmen

Award-winning online accountancy service Crunch.co.uk has partnered with MyBuilder.com to widen its industry focus; targeting tradesmen such as plumbers, electricians, builders and carpenters.The deal will see MyBuilder.com, the UK’s largest online marketplace that brings homeowners and tradesmen together, recommend Crunch.co.uk as its exclusive accounting partner to its 33,000-strong tradesmen base. Crunch.co.uk, which looks after the accounting needs of one person businesses across all industries, will be able to raise awareness of its services in a sector dominated by contractors and freelancers. The partnership provides MyBuilder.com’s members with access to a competitive online accountancy service tailored to their lifestyle.
Crunch.co.uk is a fully automated online service backed up by an integrated chartered accountancy practice qualified to handle queries and give advice, for which customers pay a fixed monthly fee of £59.50. The company, which recently won the ‘Innovation in Business’ accolade at the Brighton and Hove Business Awards, counts Bebo co-founder Paul Birch and Skype Chairman Michael van Swaaij among its investors.
“Many tradesmen registered on our site are independent and need to personally manage all aspects of their business from marketing and development to admin and paperwork,” said Ryan Notz, CEO of MyBuilder.com. “We are always looking for ways to support tradesmen; Crunch.co.uk can do that by making their accounting needs stress-free.”
MyBuilder.com was founded in 2004 by stonemason Ryan Notz, who envisioned a better way for people to find builders. Originally called Buildersite.co.uk, the company rebranded as MyBuilder.com in May 2008.
