Photography Competition - win free training!

Fish and Chips Heather BuckleySuccessful local photographers Miss Aniela and Pete Barr Watson have been selected to judge a new photography competition by Silicon Beach Training. Photographers everywhere are encouraged to enter, submitting any entry under the theme “My Home Town”. The theme is open to interpretation, be it related to people, architecture, nature or culture. This will be the first of regular bi-monthly competitions and the deadline is Friday 21st May 5pm.

The prize for the winning entry will be a free one or two day training course of the winner’s choice from Silicon Beach Training, with a wide range to choose from including Photoshop Training, Social Media, Blogging, VBA for Excel Training and Google Analytics Training courses.

Judge Miss Aniela - the screen name for Natalie Dybisz - is a successful local fine art photographer who can be found using anything from Flickr to Twitter to promote her work. In her own words, she is "a shining example of an artist who has used the Internet to make a start in photography". Pete Barr Watson is a local photographic talent who has been a jury member of the Prix Ars Electronica and is a long-standing judge for the Flash Film Festival. He's also a member photographer of respected photo agency Magnesium which was founded in Tokyo in 2009.
