Post-production facility BTV Post has completed the reversion of The Girls Who Shared a Head (1 x 60’) produced by WTFN for FIVE, which follows the story of conjoined twins, Trishna and Krishna. The girls were abandoned shortly after birth at an orphanage in Bangladesh and taken to Australia by an aid worker. The documentary, which airs on FIVE on 5th July, goes onto witness surgeons battling to save their lives by administering the traumatic, life-threatening surgery to separate them.
BTV Post is also providing the final post production and deliverables on Mr Moon, the pre-school series co-produced by Skaramoosh London, Sparky Animation Pte. Singapore and Title Entertainment in Canada. The series is based on a charming series of books by British author and illustrator Kate Veale. It comprises 26 stunning high definition half-hours, made up of 52 7-minute stories and 52 3½-minute interstitials recounting the intergalactic adventures of Mr Moon, who is charged with lighting up the night sky every evening so his friend Sunny can rest. Mr Moon is produced in cooperation with Playhouse Disney UK, TVO Kids, Knowledge Network and SCN.
James May’s Toy Stories, produced by Plum Pictures for BBC 2 has just been nominated for a BAFTA award in their Features category. For the 6-part series, BTV Post produced the entire series including online editing, colour grading, audio mixing, mastering, QAR and deliverable creation.
