UK creativity is greatly admired and hugely influential around the world. Our creative talent is one of the reasons that the UK has established a natural strength in digital, advertising, publishing, architecture, music, film, design, and fashion. The UK’s creativity energises the world. However, many commentators believe that our leading edge may now be slipping and risks being overtaken by global competition.
In a sector so dependent upon the talent it employs, the risks of not nurturing that talent in the face of phenomenal technology advancements and global competition are very real.
