May 2012 sees Eastbourne’s first ever “jelly” – a one day coworking event being organised by Eastbourne locals Stuart and Laura Lambert in advance of the town’s new permanent coworking space, CoHub.
A coworking space enables independents, freelancers, small business owners, entrepreneurs and social enterprises to work in a shared space that has all the benefits of a large corporate office without the corporate mentality.
Working in a coworking space like CoHub provides natural opportunities for collaboration between and networking with likeminded individuals.
CoHub members will also benefit from unlimited tea and coffee, super-fast broadband, break out areas and formal meeting room space to connect with clients. It is hoped that CoHub will be up and running by the summer and in the meantime Stuart and Laura would like to invite you to Eastbourne’s very first Jelly event!
#EBjelly is a FREE pop up coworking event where the Eastbourne community can come and try out coworking for the day.
There is no fixed agenda, no guest speakers and no compulsory participation in activities. You can just work for the day as normal whilst enjoying the friendly atmosphere and opportunities to chat with others or actively seek out others to collaborate on ideas with. As well as comfortable tables and chairs there will be snacks, a light lunch and caffeine on tap.
#EBjelly is being held on Thursday 17th May 2012 from 10am to 6pm on the second floor of Printers Bar Brasserie, Station Street, Eastbourne.
