I Say! Digital join the first Digital Media Apprenticeship Scheme

Digital Media Apprenticeship SchemeI Say! Digital are one of the first agencies in Brighton to be joining the new Digital Media Apprenticeship scheme provided by City College Brighton. Members of the I Say! Team celebrated at the launch party of the scheme last month held at iCrossing, along with local business owners, future apprentices, digital and media industry teams and Caroline Lucas, local MP.

The launch party highlighted the local community's support for the new apprenticeship, which speeches from Paul Doleman of iCrossing, staff from City College and Caroline Lucas. The new apprenticeship course allows young people to step in to a full time, paid work experience role within local businesses to support their learning at college.

Apprentices will be learning about Graphic Design, Web Design, Video Production, Social Media, Gaming and Photography over the course of a year.

I Say! Digital are pleased to be working in collaboration with City College. Staff at I Say! have studied at the college in the past, and are also pleased to be supporting an education provider that has been rated in the Top 5% in the country by Ofsted, with alumni such as Deborah Meaden.

I Say! Digital are extremely supportive of professional development, offering a range of flexible employment based learning options such as internships and sponsored work placements alongside their full time team members, all of whom have been promoted from within.

Currently the I Say! Team are busy preparing to interview some very promising applicants for the apprenticeship vacancy, and are looking forward to celebrating the start date of their new role on 12th September.
