Katie Sykes of I Say! Digital has attended an Australian media day, and will have her story featured on ABC news and across newspapers, websites and other local news programs in New Zealand, Australia and Papua New Guinea.

As a Princes Trust Young Ambassador, this was Katie's 3rd media appearance and she will be following this up with a fourth next week with a visit to Hackney to join celebrities telling their success stories to young people struggling to find work.

Katie was chosen for the prestigious role of Princes Trust Young Ambassador in June this year. Katie's success since setting up I Say! Digital as a freelancer and growing the business on her own has inspired staff and young people at the Princes Trust enough for them to choose Katie to spread the message about the valuable work the Princes Trust do.

So far Katie as well as the Australian media day, Katie has hosted a visit to the I Say! Digital office, which was filmed for ITV1 and featured on Meridian News, and was also invited to speak on the Live Breakfast show for BBC Sussex.

Katie was unemployed for some time before getting involved with the Princes Trust. With the help of a mentor from The Trust, she has been able to set up what is now I Say! Digital Ltd, and employ other young people. I Say! Digital now has 5 employees, and is growing steadily whilst catering for other small businesses in the local area.

"I set up my business because I wanted to help other people to make money and give jobs to people like me that deserve a break.

Over time my skills and expertise has grown allowing me to cater for much bigger Digital Marketing projects and to compete with established agencies. But it's very important to me that I can still offer an affordable service to small businesses and small traders too, because I know about the challenges small business owners face and want to help"

The public speaking skills Katie has developed from media appearances have helped to enhance her training offering as part of the growth of I Say! Digital.
