Sussex-based cameraman Mark Snashall has just filmed the battery powered car "Nemesis" break the speed record for an electric car. The car, commissioned and sponsored by green electricity company Ecotricity, reached over 151 mph at an airfield in Yorkshire. Dale Vince, Ecotricity's founder, wanted to break the slow "milk float" image of electric cars, and he has achieved that - Nemesis can go from 0 to 100 mph in 8.5 seconds, faster than a V12 Ferrari.
