Founded in 1999 by brothers Rupert and Nick Loman, Brighton-based Eurogamer Network is the publisher of Europe’s most popular independent videogames website, Eurogamer.net. The company also publishes a video site, Eurogamer TV, and a social network for gamers, Eurogamers.
| Job Description: | Eurogamer Network Ltd is looking for a programmer to be part of our small but fast growing web development team, to help improve and extend our network of video gaming sites which reach over 2 million unique users every month.
The role would be perfect for a keen computer science graduate and while experience with web development is an obvious advantage, we're equally keen to meet people who have worked on any interesting programming projects and would like to try applying their skills in a different field. |

| Skills Range: | Preferably have knowledge of PHP however we are happy to consider those who have mainly used other languages such as Python, Perl or Java.
Understand simple design patterns, and will have a sound grasp of object orientated fundamentals. Any experience with SQL, databases, client-server programming, XML, image or video processing and Unix systems would be a useful addition. |
