A 5 day festival of jobs and skills for the digital, creative & tech sector. powered by Wired Sussex in Brighton: 15 - 19 Nov 2021

What is this about?

A five-day event from the 15th to the 19th November to boost our region’s thriving digital industry; helping businesses hire, nurture and keep the most talented people – the people we need, to grow and deliver great work.

Now that we are emerging from a year of lockdown and uncertainty, it’s time to start planning the future for digital businesses. How can we best connect jobseekers, graduates, career switchers and returners to work, from diverse backgrounds and outside of our Brighton bubble with rewarding, fulfilling work?

Our event has an excellent track record of bringing jobseekers, tech and creative companies, sharing knowledge and inspiring others to get into the digital sector. 

What has happened so far?

Now in its 5th consecutive year, Talent Fest has a different format this year with panels, talks and workshops, some online and some in-person events including:

How to Lead in a Post-Covid World (Online)
Digital Leadership Forum | Monday 15th November (1-2.30pm)
Join us as our panel of Digital Leaders explore the evolution of leadership as we come out of a global pandemic.

Meet the Team with MPB (Online)
Q&A  | Tuesday 16th November (1-2.30pm)
Want to work in digital? Join us online to hear from MPB, the world’s largest online platform to buy, sell or trade used photography and videography equipment. We’ll be chatting to the team to get the inside scoop on what they're looking for in new talent, plus what they love about working at MPB.

Codebar (at the FuseBox)
Workshop | Tuesday 16th November (6-9pm)
Join us for a Codebar workshop as part of Talent Fest. Learn programming in a supportive and collaborative environment at your own pace, or share your knowledge and coach students.

How to Make Your Digital Business More Diverse (at the FuseBox)
Breakfast Session | Wednesday 17th November (9-10am)

In March 2020, when it became clear that running a physical festival would not be possible, we quickly pivoted to a virtual festival. We still delivered on our goals, reached new audiences and brought our community together at a time when support was needed more than ever. You can find a round-up of Talent Fest 2020 here.
