We are now just one month into our newly relaunched residency programme. Our doors reopened in time with the completion of major building works to expand and improve The FuseBox. And during this exciting time, we have launched the Brighton Immersive Lab, a brand-new space to experiment and play with cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality hardware, shared the news of an upcoming 5G testbed and held multiple tech-themed workshops and meetups. European Creative Hubs: Telling The FuseBox Story

In June, The FuseBox took part in a British Council curated panel discussion at ArtLab17 in Milan. An event committed to building new policies to support the creative industry. We were asked to share our experience on how can creative hubs best contribute to urban policy making. The FuseBox; helping to build an international network

In February 2017, along with two other UK hubs, The FuseBox was invited by the Creative Economy team from the British Council to provide a two-day immersion visit to a group of visitors from various locations across southern African. Our guests lead emerging and established creative spaces and online communities in Harare, Botswana, Cape Town and Jo’burg. Their visit aimed to be a fact-finding tour of some of creative digital clusters in London, Glasgow and Brighton.
