Wired Sussex: Bognor Regis Hub Meetup

                    Last week we held a meet-up in Bognor Regis. We’re working with West Sussex County Council, the University of Chichester and Hemingway Design on the feasibility of opening a creative hub in the old waiting rooms at Bognor Regis station. So the meet-up was an opportunity to share what we’ve learnt so far with the people who might use the hub – and hear their views in return. Guest Blog Jenni Lloyd: Developing a digital hub in Bognor Regis.

As I write this I’m bumbling back along the south coast from Eastleigh. I’ve been to look at two spaces there that have been created to support the digital and creative industries in the town – Tec Hub and The Sorting Office. Hubs are all the rage at the moment, with councils across the country seeking ways to support the creation of jobs in a growing sector – the kind of jobs that will attract and retain young people.
