Technology is evolving beyond screen based devices. To help companies think about and understand the challenges and opportunities that this new technological landscape offers we have developed a strand of events to explore ‘Tech Beyond the Screen’.
This series will cover topics such as:
What does Tech Beyond The Screen mean?
How do users interact and experience it?
What will it be built on it and how do we trust it?
Where can it take our imaginations?
Through these events we will discover the possibilities available as we move from screen-based devices to technology embedded in the world around us.
Have a look at our first two in the series below.
Kicking off the series we’re joined by Shane Mitchell to take us through tech giant Cisco’s Internet of Everything. The Internet of Everything brings together people, process, data and things to make networked connections more relevant and valuable than ever before – turning information into actions that create new capabilities, richer experiences and unprecedented economic opportunity for businesses, individuals and countries. Jason Mesut, an experienced User Experience Designer who specialises in designing for progressive UX across all mediums including Physical-Digital services and products — all with a user centred design approach; and Ben Sauer, Senior UX Designer at Clearleft to explore what connected products exist and the experiences that come with them. With other talks from the University of Sussex and an interactive workshop, this event is not to be missed. Sign up here
