is almost here, and this is just a quick reminder that you need to register to attend. The skills fair is aimed at giving you all the information you need break in to this exciting industry. The event is organised by Wired Sussex, in partnership with the University of Sussex.

This free event is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is interested in working in media to get up-to-date, first hand and relevant advice on the skills, knowledge and training needed to work in this dynamic industry.

The event schedule has been finalised and there's a wide range of careers advice available. We have lined up key web, games, animation and TV production companies including iCrossing, Relentless, Worth, Fresh Egg and Electric Sky, who will be on hand to inform and inspire you. This is a great chance to learn what these companies are looking for in a potential employee and how to make your CV stand out from the crowd.

There will be a drop in careers service, provided by a range of 1-2-1 advisors, offering unique information to match your individual needs and interests.

If you want to find out which courses might help you get ahead, grab this opportunity to speak with experienced, local training providers who will be available all day to offer information on their relevant degree, postgraduate and FE courses.

Throughout the day there will be discussion panels with industry specialists from across the media sector, including Ribot, Fat Sand, Nido, Zoe Mode and Brightwave. This is your chance to hear the insights of experienced professionals examining the different routes into the industry. You can ask them yourself for their views on the skills, knowledge and training relevant to the media.

Breaking into the creative sector can be hard.
