Following on from my recent blog posts about our ‘Wired for Sound‘ event’s charities, I’d like to present a bit more detail about the last of the 3 local charities local in which our DJ competition and social will be supporting; 'Sussex Macmillan Cancer Support Centre'
We are Macmillan Cancer Support. One in three of us will get cancer and it's the toughest thing most of us will ever face. If you've been diagnosed with cancer, or a loved one has, you'll want a team of people in your corner supporting you every step of the way. We provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care. We are Macmillan Cancer Support. The number of people with cancer is growing every day. We want to reach and improve the lives of every one of those people.
Every year more than 7,500 people in Sussex are told they have cancer, yet many are left with little or no information or support at the time when they most need it. With your help we can make sure that they don't have to go through it alone. Help us to make a difference..We need your help to raise £3.7million to build the Sussex Macmillan Cancer Support Centre in Brighton. Designed by experts with input from people affected by cancer, the centre will provide information and support to people with cancer in a friendly and welcoming environment.

It's less than 2 weeks to go until the big event and there's still time to sign up to try DJing, as well as buy tickets (which will allow you to queue jump too)!
See you on the 23rd Feb!
