Jobseekers, here's a few ways of connecting with us

You may be  wondering about getting ahead regarding work once you graduate and are making sure that you're standing out from the crowd in the hope of landing that all important new job?

OR

You may already be on the all important career ladder and wondering about other new opportunities out there for you?

Wired Sussex are here to help and you are probably already aware that we manage a local specialist Jobs Board where you can sign up for Job Alerts to make sure you don’t miss out on any opportunities.  As well as registering for specific alerts for specific job types, you can also tick the box to receive only the jobs that are suitable for a recent graduate to help you know what to aim for.  We now have a special RSS feed you can also subscribe to and there’s a host of graduate level jobs currently being advertised.

You can also upload your CV to our database which is something our member companies are using more and more now. It's really important to do so as it might be the first place employers look when they advertise a new vacancy with Wired Sussex. So whether you are currently looking for an opportunity, or happy just keeping an eye out for the time being, it's always worthwhile for us to have your current CV or portfolio and for you to make sure that all of your contact details are correct and current.  You never know, you might even get headhunted and land the job of your dreams without needing to do any more than follow this link!

We do a lot of work engaging with local Universities too, making sure we're as connected as possible and providing advice where we can about the digital, media and tech sector as well as always looking out for ways in which we can hopefully re-launch our internship programme.  Over the next few weeks we'll be speaking at University events, answering questions as part of an expert panel and running various careers sessions, so watch out for news on how you can get involved.

Don't forget we also have a huge amount of careers advice, information and tips about the sector, videos and more available here.  You can also research who you’d really love to work for and where to network with them.  Follow us on Twitter too where you can get to see the latest jobs first.

So what are you waiting for? There's a whole lot of opportunity waiting to be grabbed!

Good luck in your job hunt and share with us your success :-)
