Experiment: Come and use The FuseBox as a place to collaborate

We're launching another experiment at The FuseBox to see if we can build more collaboration and support for people working in creative and digital in Brighton. And you're invited.

From 29 August to 20 September, we're opening up The FuseBox as a collaboration space all day on Mondays and Thursdays (9:30 - 5:30), and in the afternoons on Fridays (1:00 - 5:30). During these times you're free to come and go, work from here and collaborate with others.

We won't charge you any money, however it's not free. We invite users to pay with social capital instead. In practice this means that while you're in The FuseBox, you adopt a mindset of openness, sharing and collaboration - taking an interest in what others are working on and giving generously to help them where you can. Since everyone else there will be on the same deal, you'll benefit from their help too. We also appreciate people tweeting about The FuseBox to help spread the word about what we're doing here.

For now, you don't need to register before you come along. Please just tweet @fuseboxbtn to announce yourself and say why you came. Then you can search Twitter to see who else is here. If you feel lost when you get here, just ask for Rosalie, our wonderful Studio Coordinator.

Although there are some similarities, The FuseBox not a co-working space. If you're mostly looking for a place to work then we point you to some of the awesome co-working spaces in Brighton like The Skiff and The Werks. But if meeting new people, collaboration, and mutual support is what you're after, then please pop in. If you're interested in learning more about this way of working, check out The Serendipity Machine.

One more thing: If you'd like to carry on collaborating in the evening when The FuseBox closes, check out Dream Factory which is running throughout September.

Looking forward to seeing you here at The FuseBox.
