Between now and the New Year we are experimenting with some new ways of using The FuseBox to support members of the Creative, Digital and IT community and our neighbours in New England House. We would love for you to come along to try it out and let us know what you think.
Here are some ways you can get involved.
Use our meeting room
It is a flexible, self-serviced meeting room which means that you can play with the space as you please. We want you to make yourself at home, so whether that means covering the walls with giant post-its or rearranging the furniture, it’s all encouraged but the practicalities would be down to you (we will be happy to help where we can).
The meeting room can sit approx 15 people comfortably around tables or up to 30 in theatre style rows of chairs.
Currently use of the space is free, we just ask that you respect the space and its users, and where possible give something back in the form of social capital (for example, sharing your skills or lending a helping a hand).
To book the meeting room please fill out this form - http://bit.ly/15XeGGh

Come to our collaborative work days
Every Wednesday – Friday we are running collaborative work days for entrepreneurs, startups and businesses in the creative, digital and IT community. At our collaborative work days you are encouraged to take a step back from your own project and to share thoughts, experience and skills with others. In return you will also be able to reap the rewards of the fellow users knowledge.
To find out more about the collaborative work days please join our Facebook group – http://on.fb.me/162QexS
If you are looking for a more traditional co-working model we highly recommend our friends at The Skiff - http://bit.ly/17t8gZv
Host an event here
We would love to hear from you if you planning some other activity that doesn't fit in the meeting room or as part of our collaborative open days; whether it is an exhibition, a hackathon or a masterclass it would be great to find out what you’re up to. If we can’t accommodate you at The FuseBox then we can help signpost you to alternatives.
Some lovely endorsements from new friends of The FuseBox...
"Utilising the FuseBox space has been a real shot of adrenalin for the 8bits team. We're currently collaborating on our largest agile project to date and regularly getting out of the office and into a large, airy, creative space, buzzing with other digital teams has helped us increase our project velocity. Thanks to Wired Sussex and the Fusebox team for making us feel so welcome."
Natasha Reynolds, Creative Director, 8bits Media
"I can honestly say it was one of the best events I have been part of. The FuseBox was such a great venue and your help preparing everything and giving us open access was invaluable – thank you."
Sam Zindel, iCrossing
"We've used the space including the meeting room a few times. Both are great. The FuseBox space is really open and airy with a great outlook over Brighton (and the little train that runs to Lewes!). Lots of power, Wi-Fi and huge flexibility. The meeting room is great too – the semi-industrial but also very modern feel of the place is just right for getting down to practical activities like business strategy and planning. And finally Rosalie and the team are brilliant – we've always felt right at home."
Pete Burden, Conscious Business People
"The FuseBox is a perfect meeting place for us. We are in the early days of our company so don't have access to meeting rooms etc. I would highly recommend it to anyone based in Brighton or Sussex. Really friendly atmosphere and helpful staff."
Roarke Pearce, Brighton based creative
"Thanks for providing the meeting room last week. The space struck the perfect balance between business-like and different. If you'll have us again, we'll definitely be back"
Ray Richards, Do Something Different
