March

Brighton Digital Exchange launches
The Exchange is our plan to tackle the issue of poor broadband connectivity and infrastructure in Brighton.
It’s a co-operative involving Wired Sussex, ISPs and broadband providers, which will enable businesses to access the speed and capacity they need. It’s the first time something like this has been tried in the U.K and you can find out more about the initiative here.

Digital Catapult Centre Brighton launches
The centre will be an R+D lab where SMEs, start-ups, large corporates, universities and others can come together and collaborate on innovative digital projects.
It will also give regional businesses access to 5g technologies, enabling you to stay ahead of the game, and develop and grow creatively. You can read more about the project here.

The Digital Skills Summit,23rd March.
We will be looking at ways in which we can support and empower our members to identify and work to address the skills gaps that are prominent within our sector.  As well as looking at the relationships between skills providers and businesses, we will also be exploring continued learning within employment and best practice for up-skilling staff and encouraging self learning.

For more information on any of the above opportunities be sure to sign-up for our monthly newsletter.
