Here’s a quick run-through of 5 ways that becoming a Wired Sussex member can help you reach a large audience and make stronger connections within the local cluster.
_____
Member News: Adding your company news to our site is simple to do and free to all Wired Sussex members. It’s a great place to gain visibility for your latest press release, news story or product launch, for free. Every item you post will be featured on our website homepage and go out on our RSS feed.
*Tip: It’s also the first place we look for stories when writing up the ‘Members Roundup’ section of our monthly newsletter!
You can add your news here or if you’d prefer you can email me a link to your RSS feed and we’ll look at embedding it directly onto our website.
_____
Newsletter: Each month we send out a newsletter that covers all the latest happenings in the cluster. - if you haven’t signed up already, register here.
It features a round-up of news from our members. So if you fancy having your latest project, client win, or company hire included – then why not get in touch and let us know what you’ve been up to!
We also promote our newsletters via social media, so being featured means getting your news seen on our twitter and facebook accounts – to a combined audience of 20,000+ followers!
_____
Directory: As Members you can be listed on our business directory. Where (amongst other things) you can showcase your latest projects, display client testimonials, and even embed meta-tags so people searching Google know how to easily find you and connect.
Check this blog post for tips on getting your account fixed up and looking sharp.
_____
Social Media: We help members promote what’s going on via our social media channels; if you haven’t already, you can find us on facebook & twitter for all the latest.
And check out our ‘WiredSussex Members’ group on LinkedIn, it's very active, with over 1200 members regularly sharing news and content.
_____
Networking: We also run a full programme of events that members and their company employees can benefit from.
A regular (and my personal favourite!) event is the quarterly members meetup, which offers you the chance to connect with others working in the creative, digital & tech. sector. On average we see around 100-150 members in attendance each time, so there’s always new, valuable contacts and some fun to be had..
Our next meetup is on the 21st April at Osho Social, which you can register for here.
So, there you have it, 5 simple ways that joining Wired Sussex can help you to promote your business and news.
