Not long to go until our Spring Members Meetup at Alfresco on Kings Road, Brighton on Tuesday 26th April, from 5:30pm - 10:30pm!
Our Members’ Meetups are a great way to make the most out of your membership. Not only do we have an opportunity to meet you and chat to you about what you and your business are up to; but you’ll also get to meet or catch up with other members, opening up opportunities for knowledge sharing, collaborations and potential project work.
If you haven’t already signed up to come along, here’s a few reasons why you should!
- These informal networking events see on average over 150 people in attendance – that’s a lot of potential new contacts!
- Meeting other members and learning about their business or the business they work for is a great way to keep up to date with what is going on in our industry, to share expertise with peers, to explore potential collaboration and to find potential joint working opportunities with peers.
- Ask the Wired Sussex team for advice on supporting your business, whether that be other ways to make the most out of your membership; how to source that new recruit; engaging with the local CDIT community through events; potential funding opportunities or raising the profile in the sector locally.
- Talk to us about the Digital Catapult Centre Brighton to find out what the project means for you, your business and for Brighton and the Coast 2 Capital region, and how it might be able to help you.
- It’s almost summer (yay!) and the sun is creeping it's way back into our lives! Let’s celebrate with a few drinks, and a spectacular view of the beach :)
Really hope to catch up with you there. Please do spread the word and extend the invitation to (Wired Sussex Member) friends, peers and colleagues. If you do know anyone that would like to join, please just ask them to sign up here to secure a place.
New to the networking scene, or perhaps after a few tips on how to work the room? Not to worry, check out our blog post on networking best practice and approaches to help you make the most out of the event.
Also, you can have a look through the attendee list in advance of the event as it could be useful to identify anyone you’d like to speak to; we’d be happy to facilitate an introduction.
And remember to tweet us @WiredSussex using #WiredBrighton to let us know you’re coming!
Make sure that you’re the first to hear about upcoming Wired Sussex events by signing up to receive Wired Sussex event invitations here.
As always, do feel free to get in touch with any questions about the Spring Members Meetup. Wired Sussex events in general or the latest goings on in the creative, digital and tech community.
See you there!
