Talent2017 was a 3-day skills festival for the digital sector. On the first day of the festival we ran the region’s largest digital careers fair which brought together key elements to provide attendees with advice and contact to start - or progress with - an exciting, challenging and rewarding career.
It was fantastic to have over 30 companies and 650+ attendees at the event.
Some of our sectors most exciting and desirable companies had stalls at the event and were able to talk directly with job seekers giving out top tips and discussing opportunities within their companies.
Exhibiting companies included: iCrossing, The Unit, Gene Commerce, Equal Experts, Madgex, Jellyfish, WMP, Crunch, Claromentis, West Pier Studio, William Reed Business Media, Cogapp, Site Visibility, Holograph, Create.net, Brighton Music Office, The Progress Film Company, Oban, CDO Partners, The Student Room, Fresh Egg, Mind Tools, Gemini Print, Intelligenz Solutions, Brandwatch
There were a number of education providers who were on hand to give advice and guidance: University of Sussex, City College Brighton & Hove, University of Brighton, Digital Marketing For Grads.
We also had a series of workshops run by National Careers Service covering CV clinics, interview techniques, effective applications and job-search techniques.
