O&G kickstart 2018 with a brand new acquisition

Creative agency O&G has kickstarted 2018 by acquiring respected Brighton and London branding agency VGROUP. The acquisition hails O&G’s 40th year in business, having been set up by David Graimes, the father of the current joint managing directors, Gavin and Gareth.

“There aren’t many agencies here which can boast 40 years in business,” says Gavin Graimes. “We’ve worked with some amazing clients over the years including a variety of well-known blue chip and household names and have always been forward-thinking as a business. We started as a small creative advertising and design agency, embraced new technology and innovation, and we’re now at the forefront of the region’s advertising, digital and creative services sector.

VGROUP will continue as a separate entity within the O&G business structure. The parent company will introduce VGROUP to its existing clients, giving them access to a very experienced team of branding specialists able to offer a full brand strategy, design and communication service. Whilst VGROUP will have access to O&G’s full marketing services beyond initial brand development, including website design and build, graphic design and digital marketing.

“We’d been looking for an opportunity for a while,” added Gavin Graimes, “and had known and admired VGROUP for some time. When the opportunity arose, we felt it was a perfect fit. It’s part of our ongoing business strategy to add niche complementary services when and where appropriate to grow and develop our company.”

O&G and VGROUP will operate from their existing offices in Brighton, Hove and London, working with clients in all sectors throughout the UK and internationally, celebrating O&G’s 40 years in business and looking forward to even more successes, in the future.
