SiteVisibility Launches £25k “Community Digital Marketing Fund” for Sussex based Charities

SiteVisibiity, has launched its £25k ‘Community Digital Marketing Fund’. The fund, available to all charities and NFP organisations across Sussex, can be applied for by submitting an application on SiteVisibility’s Facebook page by December 31st telling the company about the charity, its work in the local community and what it will aim to achieve with extra digital marketing guidance and advice.

Following the closure of the application deadline, a review process will take place in January 2013 and SiteVisibility will then announce if the fund is to be split between a series of smaller charities throughout Sussex or to one charity which has the potential to achieve the biggest impact with the £25k investment of digital marketing.

Some of the projects SiteVisibility will look to implement for the chosen charities include:

Digital marketing strategy to grow donations, awareness, sales etc

SEO strategy and on-going campaign.

Social Media strategy, training or community management

Internal digital marketing training.

Email marketing

Helping charities and having a strong CSR programme has been high on the boardroom agenda at SiteVisibility throughout 2012. Through various fundraising events, the company has raised over £1,600 for its chosen charity the NSPCC; donated a selection of IT equipment to UK IT charity, Computer Aid International; and recently spoke free of charge at event which educated and informed charities on the benefits of using social media platforms.

Jason Woodford, SiteVisibility CEO comments: “As a company, SiteVisibility’s philosophy is to actively support the communities in which we live and work by investing time and resources to support the local community. As part of our three-year CSR strategy we have set ourselves tough objectives and goals that are designed to ensure we are able to really have a positive impact in the local community.

“During the recession, many charities have been unable to achieve their goals due to funding restrictions and lower donations. Additionally, many charities are only just starting to explore the opportunities available through social media and few of the smaller charities have a strategy in place or the resources to deliver this. We feel, as a company, they have the internal expertise to really help make a difference which is why next year they have dedicated resources and skills to help make a measurable difference.”

You are eligible to apply if you are a Sussex based charity or NGO. There is a limit of one grant per year.

All applications are strictly confidential.

SiteVisibility are looking forward to seeing how they can work with local community based projects in 2013 to help make a real difference. Get your applications in now!
