A Big Tick for SiteVisibility

Leading digital marketing agency shortlisted for the Santander Responsible Small Business of the Year Award

SiteVisibility, one of the UK’s leading digital marketing agencies, has been awarded a ‘Big Tick’ by Business in the Community (BITC) and has been shortlisted for the national Santander Responsible Small Business of the Year Award – part of the BITC Responsible Business Awards. The assessors of the awards felt that SiteVisibility offered a clear example of the benefits that SMEs can have on their local community. Along with regional gala dinners, the National Gala Dinner will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on 2nd July with the South East event in June.

The BITC Responsible Business Awards recognise and celebrate the best examples of businesses’ that transform their communities and in turn transform their businesses to create a more sustainable future. In being shortlisted for this year’s judging stage, SiteVisibility is recognised as leading the way in this agenda and this clearly demonstrates that it is firmly in the business of supporting others.

The decision to award SiteVisibility with a ‘Big Tick’ was made by a panel of independent, experienced business people, and the process has been assured by Arthur D Little. They noted that SiteVisibility’s Digital Marketing Fund also displayed “fantastic innovation”.

The £25k Digital Marketing Fund was launched in September 2012 and was available to all charities and not-for-profit organisations across Sussex. Earlier this year SiteVisibility announced that the fund had been awarded to Brighton-based child care charity, Extratime. This on-going campaign has provided the charity with the opportunity to improve its online reputation and profile, increase online donations and build its own digital capability to become more effective and self-sustaining into the future.

SiteVisibility has also recently been shortlisted for the Third Sector Business Charity Awards where it was nominated for the Small Business Challenge Event in recognition of the company’s fundraising partnership with NSPCC in 2012.

Jason Woodford, SiteVisibility CEO comments: “In terms of CSR, our primary objective has always been to ensure we use our skills to help create employment opportunities in the communities where we operate. As part of our three-year CSR strategy we have set ourselves tough objectives and goals that are designed to ensure we are able to really have a positive impact in the local community. Therefore I am absolutely delighted for our team that our efforts have been recognised so early into our three year plan.”

SiteVisibility is behind the most popular internet marketing podcast in the English speaking world downloaded by a million people globally as well as organising Brighton SEO which is the UK’s most popular free conference for Search Marketers.
