Google is bringing its Google Digital Garage to Talent Fest 2019: Jobs Fair in Brighton on Tuesday 18th June, offering local talent free digital skills advice and coaching to help them find a job and grow in their career and confidence.

The Google Digital Garage is one of Google's flagship investment programmes in the UK, where anyone can come and learn free digital skills through a range of courses and 1:1 sessions. Since launching the Google Digital Garage in 2015, over 300,000 people have benefitted from Google’s free face-to-face training on digital know-how across 250 locations in the UK.

Talent Fest 2019: Jobs Fair is part of Wired Sussex’s three-day digital skills festival, and is the largest digital, creative and technology jobs fair in the South East.

Alongside a range of masterclasses from Google and talks from industry experts, attendees to the Jobs Fair will have the chance to meet some of the region’s biggest employers such as American Express and Virgin Atlantic, as well as wide range of great local companies who work with the likes of Tate, BBC, Nintendo, The Guardian, Brighton Festival and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Ronan Harris, Google UK & Ireland Managing Director, said: 'In the digital age, a basic understanding of how the online world works is useful and when it comes to business, it’s essential. We are delighted to bring the Google Digital Garage to Talent Fest 2019: Jobs Fair and ensure everyone has access to free digital skills workshops and 1:1 coaching. We hope you'll pop in and get the skills you need to become more confident online, grow your career, and maybe even launch the next big idea."
